Announcements and Updates
Based on direction given by the SNC Governing Board, the remainder of our Proposition 84 Funds (approximately $2.5 million) will be awarded to projects that comply with Proposition 84 and SNC mission criteria and support the two focus areas of Healthy Forests and Abandoned Mine Lands. The FY 2013-14 DRAFT Grant Guidelines were made available for public comment on April 5, 2013. The deadline for comments was April 26, 2013. The final draft of the Grant Guidelines with changes to reflect public comments will be presented to the SNC Governing Board for review and approval at its June Board meeting.

Preservation of Ranches and Agricultural Lands” Grant Program Update: March 2013
The Governing Board authorized 29 projects totaling $5.2 million for the FY 2012-13 Proposition 84 Preservation of Ranches and Agricultural Lands program at its regularly scheduled meeting on March 7, 2013.
